What was the highlight of Hotel Riviera Évora
Perfect place to stay in Évora
Location is perfect, hotel is in the heart of the city, in one of the main streets. For breakfast there was coffee, tea, yogurt, bread, butter, jam, cheese, ham, fruit, cake,..... Good size clean room and bathroom. Staff really nice and always willing to help. Really good for the value/price.

Cozy place, prime location
The hotel was located in an old building and former residence, so it has some history. What's best about this hotel is the location, as it is nearby the main sight-seeing areas. So when it rained I didn't have to walk too far. The room is OK and so was the breakfast.
It's a pretty basic hotel, looking a bit old, but maybe that's charming to some people? It was a bit difficult to use the Wifi. There isn't an elevator so people with big luggage may have a problem.

everything was bad here
Hotel reception was closed at 3.30 a.m., when they announce that it is open 24H. Luckily, I contacted another hotel that was a partner and was able to talk to someone in charge, who, after more than 30 minutes in the cold and rain, and ringing the bell, finally opened the door , but without making any apologies for the situation. The room had no view and it smelled very bad, of sweat and sewage.

Uncomfortable.
The location, very central.
The room was very dark, one tiny window overshadowed by a tall building within arms reach. The bathroom tiles were black with mould and mildew.
